Conservation Storytelling Portfolio

Eastern Bristlebird Translocation
Documenting a landmark conservation effort
With more than 20 years of experience as a conservation biologist, I work comfortably alongside ecologists, rangers, and volunteers to document conservation projects in the field. My approach to wildlife photography prioritises ethical practices and minimal disturbance to sensitive species and their habitats. Accustomed to remote and challenging environments, I understand the realities of fieldwork and operate with strong safety awareness while following established research and field protocols.
My work also supports the communication needs of organisations by translating field projects into compelling visual stories. These images will assist in communicating project outcomes to funders, strengthening grant applications, and providing high-quality media assets for reports, campaigns, education, and public outreach. Through visual storytelling, I aim to help organisations engage broader audiences with the importance of protecting threatened species and ecosystems.
